"Striking Knives", or marking knives, made from high carbon steel, they work and feel just like you'll want them to. These are used for marking wood and laying out joinery. This listing is for ONE knife.

The striking knife is used to lay out joinery (like dovetails) the thin single bevel edge cuts fine accurate lines for tight tolerances while the awl can be used to lay in a wider line when more visibility is required.
