This special little hatchet combines many of my favorite aspects of axes and axe making. The hand forged 'wrap and weld' body was made from salvaged wrought iron. It has an inlaid 80CrV2 steel bit and a 1045 steel poll. The edge bevels are flat ground for carving and general purpose camp chores. It is hung on a hand selected hickory handle embellished with blue milk paint, a walnut wedge and is sealed with linseed oil. It comes with a custom made 8-9oz veg-tan leather sheath. a truly one of a kind piece.
